Plant-based BBQ Pork Buns

Mushroom filling is delicious, and the pastry appears healthier than the usual bleached white stuff

The Dan Dan noodles was amazing but the choy sum in it was chewy and couldn't be swallowed. the greens used in the wanton noodles was very nice and tender. it would be great if you could use the greens from the wanton noodles for the Dan Dan instead. The pork buns wholemeal dough was tough and not as nice as it might be with white flour. your meals are great and i would like to get more especially the Dan Dan. Thanks.

A tasty steamed bun. Microwave steams easily - perhaps break it open to let the centre cool a bit!

Store owner replied: Thanks Katherine. Glad you love it! Thanks for your support :)

Love this! YUM! I had BBQ pork buns in Hong Kong years ago and since going vegetarian, always wished I could eat them again! Now I can! These are so delicious! The taste is the same and the texture is so meaty but it's the mushrooms doing that. The dough is unique in that it's fuller with some wholemeal flour - I just love them!

Bread is very chewy and tough

Plant-based BBQ Pork Buns

Store owner replied: Hi Jacinta, thank you for your feedback :) As our buns has whole wheat flour so the dough is thicker than usual. Best way to cook is to steam. Otherwise add some water on the buns and cover with microwave cover when microwave :)

Tasted quite nice. Not sure I steamed them properly a bit sticky.

The "pork" buns are a game changer. The flavour is so tasty, I will most definitely be ordering more of the buns!
